Recommended cooks for Hut trip to Fairy Meadows an was created by Unnamed user
I am organizing two trips this year; one to Fairy Meadows and another to Kokanee Glacier.
I'd like to get recommendations on cooks for both trips. Each is a week-long trip
Our cook fell through as he is now a new dad.
Thanks!

Only two trips Lee?
I guess that leaves a lot of room for joining others spur-of-the-moment.
Don't have a cook recommendation, but I look forward to hearing the TRs as always. FM was totally remodeled since I was there -- sounds like a big improvement.

We had incredibly good luck with Kathy Korven from Kimberly. After cooking breakfast, snowshoeing all day, and creating delectable dinners, she would fascinate us into the wee hours with her skills as a professional C&W songstress.

Leel,
If you are still in need of a cook I have an interest in your need. I am a working cook; for the last six years I have been running the kitchens in two different pubs. Prior to the pubs I paid my dues in two Italian restaurants, several steak houses, as well as mountain grills in Aspen and Park City. I have also done my share of breakfast cooking which is a true art but at the lower scale of the culinary index. I am an experienced saute cook, broiler cook, sauceire, line cook, and bake as well.
Chefing in the pub gives me the freedom to ski all winter as i don't clock in until 3:30. I have been backcountry skiing for the last twelve years. If you may have need of my services please shoot me a line.
thanks
phil
