Way OT - Need Coast Beta (vacay-rentals?)

My best friend and I are going to the Coast on the weekend of 10/12-13. It'll be her and her son (5 years old), myself, and my two dogs.
We need: Oceanfront, pet friendly. Washington or Oregon coast, as far south as Tillamook, as far north as Willapa Bay or something. We don't care too much about anything else. Mini-man is pretty happy getting out and doing mini-manly things like throwing mud-balls, making sand-castles, chasing us with seaweed, trying to outrun waves, flying kites. He's fine without any special forms of entertainment (amusement parks or whatever).
if anybody has any recommendations, that's just swell. I'd like to keep it under $150/night. Thanks!

Cannon Beach Oregon is the best we have found. Click Pets Welcome .  We have stayed at the Tolovana Inn and the Ecola Creek Lodge.  ECL is cheaper with a better location, but not as nice.  We have taken our dog both times.  The town is very pet and kid friendly.  Enjoy your trip.

We stayed at Ecola Creek Lodge this summer and were surprised how nice it was for the price (~$85).  Its about 200 yards from the beach. www.cannonbeachlodge.com/    And now that its mentioned there were a lot of people with dogs around town. And if its too windy on the Beach Ecola State Park has some nice trails
