Do the British Columbia interior areas typically get early snowfall?

Excellent advice. I'll start a tour list and do some research, maybe even post for partners on certain trips.

Thanks once again hefeweizen,

Call Zap........

Really, calling Zap is one of best moves for this, because he and Jill are King and Queen of the Road (and the ski area parking lots from Buenos Aires to Whitehorse.)

In addition, time to get handy. Topper for the truck, Foam board galore, curtains, VENTED propane heater from RV graveyard near Centralia. Car Charger Boot warmers (PEET is the brand). Sleeping and drying out are key unless you have $$$ for motels/hotels.

Central BC is super kind to the lowly traveler. Great snow and people.
I would try to get a hut trip too if you can. Park the glacier gear til spring.
PM me if you want more details.

Seems like on the "other site" there was a thread about working under a helicopter for free hut days?????? Sounds like a good way to earn some "high/deep" turns.

Under a helicopter?

I like the idea of free hut days and plan on begging Wingridge tours to let me chop wood/repair tents/shovel snow for space in the sauna ;D (unless it's too late in the season for such a thing).

Maybe I'll just roam from hut to hut as some sort of phantom skier, with the only evidence of my presence will be my rather ungracious first tracks on all the fresh pow. :D
