Good company but low numbers and low clouds. Lots of pond skiing, and a nice Ranger John babysat us half the day.
TAY may get its 15 min. of fame this week on National Public Radio affiliate KPLU, 88.5---their reporter Tom Bonce (sp?) hiked up, interviewed people, took photos, and may have a story on the local segment of their NPR Morning Edition. Perhaps this Friday, 8/3, he said. (5-9 AM)
Try the radio website:

I think the station was actually KUOW 94.9FM, but I could be wrong. I had just seen it on his hat and mentioned that I listen, he didn't correct me . . . anybody else know?
I don't really have any pics, so I am really looking forward to what everyone else has to post!

OK...anxiously awaiting the goods (pictures) from yesterday!
The film editors must be still feeling the effects of the Mountain Margaritas.
Hope it all was fun!

I thought everybody agreed there would be no pictures posted of this. You are breaking the vow. At least they are not of me. My pix are on film so it'll be awhile before they are digital. Tom Banse is a NW regional NPR reporter, so both KUOW and KPLU, according to their websites. At least he did not have a camera and you won't see us on the radio.
I am feeling kind of sore. Swimming with skis on uses a whole different set of muscles.
Great to meet the TAY-ers and friends!
