Looks like this weekend would be a wonderful time for an evening tour

I did quite a bit of it last season at Snoqualmie. Yes, it is an amazing experience- soft blue light reflecting on the snow- whoohoo!

I can't say that I'm up for a moonlight tour this weekend (sounds awesome though!), but I will definatley seek out a spot to check out the moonrise on saturday night. Thanks for posting that link.

When thinking about the moon, also note that the week after the full moon offers half-moon night skinning on alpine starts. Pretty as heck, plus you get corn on the way home!
