Boarding the Coleman-Deming Route on Baker

Quick question for Snow Boarders-  We're climbing Baker this weekend, weather permitting, and had a couple questions regarding boarding the Coleman-Deming route:

- Is this a good descent route for a boarder (steep enough over most/all of the route)?

- Are there any long flat areas that require walking/pushing down?

The choice is walk down or board down for one of our party members.  Or, steep is good, flat is bad!

Thx!  Tony

There are definitely flat sections.  From 7000ft to 9000ft has very few steep sections. And there might even be some uphill sections (getting around crevasses and serac debris).

I've boarded it in cold conditions and it wasn't too bad, but if the snow is sticky, the boarder will need to some skiers to grab onto.

We rode down the route about this time last year. If you keep speed up it isn't a problem riding the whole route. I think the only carry was the last flat spot near the true summit.
