Bryant Pass (Snoq) conditions?

I'm thinking of trying the Chair Pk circumnav tomorrow but haven't skied the section from Pineapple bowl to Bryant Pass and down to Melakwa and am worried it'll be icy/scary. Anyone have recent info on Snoq pass conditions, an idea of how steep/exposed these sections are, or wild conjectures on how the snow will be tomorrow?

There are a few way to get up there. Some sections are steep. No more than about 40 degrees. I can usually skin it but have had to boot up some sections on occasions depending on conditions. There are some areas prone to sliding so take that into consideration. The ski down to the lake is not steep. Just stay skiers left a little bit or you will cliff out.

I was in the area on Tuesday and snow was great. I was up at Kendall Peak yesterday and the snow was great up high but very wet down low. With today’s temps/sun I would expect it to be icy in the morning unless there is some fresh snow overnight.

Hopefully you found my TR from last week. The skiing in the Melakwa valley was the best of the tour for us, though we were there later in the day. I'm tempted to get back there to ski the slopes just below the pass...
