2 Weeks of Festivus.. or Crystal Skifest Light

So here's an idea.....not actually mine....but since were all used to the skifest being the weekend after Crystal closes..... how about if we have a warm up event this Sunday (the 22nd).  The idea is that the groomed runs at ski areas are probably  providing the best base in this soggy spring so why not enjoy them. A bunch of us will be up in the Cambell Lodge area on Sunday to do just that and we may just bring some food to share and enough beverage to make it fun  . Oh.... and if you forgot how much fun you had last year check out Crystal Skifest 2006 ....see you this Sunday or next...Jerry

As for your earlier timing question, it's a somewhat loosely timed event with folks pretty much coming and going 'till mid to late afternoon if the weather holds.  Our little gang usually hits Buzzy's in Greenwater for bfast by around 7:30 - 7:45 with plans to be at the CM base area around 9:ish.

Sounds like a winner to me, two weekends in a row, might take the "geezers" that long to get up there anyway  .  Looking forward to both  .
