Non-telemarker makes TTIPS front page!

I submitted 5 snowboarder photos and one telemarker photo from that trip as a bit of an experiment. Several years ago ttips used a photo of Silas on AT gear on the cover and it caused some interesting discussion (Silas was in the part of his turn where it wasn't clear what kind of gear he was on - could have been AT or tele). I see that this photo of Eric also created some discussion:

TTips has had several boarders and many, many AT folks grace its cover. Chris (BC Rider) for one.

Tim, I don't doubt that there have been photos of non-telemarkers before, but even though "backcountry" was added to the ttips logo some time ago, the web site still seems very tele-centric to me. I see a lot of new product info, gear reviews, promotions, etc. focussed on tele gear, but not a lot (any?) on AT or snowboard gear. Same for the new crop of stickers. The forum does seem to draw a wider crowd, despite the bias of the site itself. I do know, however, that both times I've gotten a non-tele photo onto the cover, similar threads have popped up: "Why is there a snowboarder on the ttips.com cover?"

I had a photo of my friend Mark on the cover from our Bugs to Rogers Pass trip on Monday. He was at the top of a long boot pack and you can see the dynafit bindings on his pack mounted skiis.
