Please forgive my ignorance, my maps are not in front of me.
What are we looking at for road walking with a 2 WD vehicle to get to Esmerelda TH in terms of milage?

It is 19 miles from the 29 Pines sno-park to the end of the NF Teanaway road. -- I think it is only about 3 miles from 29 Pines to the Beverly Creek turn off.

I was up on Stuart Friday-Saturday. It was 3 miles to Beverly, then maybe a mile and a half to the end of that road. Finally another 3 or 4 miles up a nice valley and another 2 miles to the base of Stuart. I was surprised how short this approach was! What a great peak and an awesome place ;D.

BTW, as we were traversing back toward cascadian we saw your tracks (I think). It looked like you skied the couloir that veers off cascadian?

yes it is quite an enjoyable skin in and out of there! glad you made it up. it was definitely a sweet ski. yes we took the west shot..in the beckey book he has them both marked as the cascadian if i remember right.
