Mid June...Crater Lake????

Curious???

I've skied Bailey the past few years in June...6'-8' of snow!!!...But have always wanted to ski in or around Crater Lake NP, 10 miles from Bailey.  Curious if the round the lake road is normally still in condition for a loop tour?

Any Other Thoughts??:  June 16th-22nd....4-5days.....What would you do?????
could be into...Broken Top?  Goat Rocks?......Looking for a 2-4 night basecamp and day shots.

..if not the loop tour, then Steeeppp and probably NE facing.

Definitely time to start planning.  Down here below the 45th..the south face skiing below 4500' has pretty much evaporated.

Not by mid-late June unless you crave punishment. In a reasonable snow year there'll be short skiable shots here and there off the road, plus probably some longer shots off Mt. Scott. Lots of pine pollen, so wax well (and maybe bring a rag and solvent).

Shasta, Lassen, possibly McLoughlin, The Sisters, Hood, Adams, etc. Plenty of trip reports posted in the past covering these areas.
