Hey Toby,

Just got back from the PC hut yesterday ... I took primarily video clips (like from our 2006 Fairy Meadow trip together) but many in our crew took great photos of the terrain. I'll be getting their pics soon. I can also provide you w/ snowpack and route info if interested.

When are ya taking off?

Andy T.

Cool, thanks. We will be up there the 24th-1st. Andy, I saw on the web-site that they had the pineapple express roll through the Sunday that you left. How was the snowpack up until that? Did you make it into Little Joe Lakes basin or the basin West of Mt. Baldr? I'd be excited to see some pics!

No, we didn't make it to those basins.  Spent most of the time in the local areas marked in red community.netidea.com/powder/topo.htm .  Snowpack steadily stabilized while we were there. Towards the end of the week (3/10), tap tests weren't releasing on most aspects ... then the Pineapple Express came through and both settled and cleared the 21+cm of new pow that fell. A few crowns on the North face were readily visible from the hut. Still waiting for photos from our group but it appears from the previous post that you may be set. Have fun and let me know if you need anything.  PowderCreek is a fantastic hut, unlike anything I've experienced before and the crew and terrain both top-notch.
