Spring Break? was created by NMaddox
Hey guys,

Spring break hits next week here at WSU. I was thinking about heading down to St. Helens, but no threads from that area for a few weeks/month. Anyone know how it is?

On another note, is the snowpack at Mt. Pilchuck enough to skin in from the parking lot? Those boulders up there need a lot of snow for coverage and I haven't been up there in the winter for a few years.

Thanks again for all the great information. This site is amazing with some great athletes contributing to it. It's great to know someone is out there doing what I wish I could do while I'm sitting in class.

~Nick

I've skied St Helens twice this year and both times have posted reports here. Most recent was on January 28th:

There's really not much info you need to know for St Helens. There's plenty of snow.

Skied Helens a few weeks ago (feb 17 07) and it was great up to 7000 ft and then it turned to boiler plate ice.  It was fun, but I was wishing for my partners Havoc's since the snow was deep, heavy and a bit overpowering for my Joos.
