ski crampons for G3 Targa bindings? was created by btana
Does anyone have input on ski crampons that will work with the G3 Targa bindings? G3 makes ski crampons for their other bindings but not these. Also I am not so hot on the wingnut idea and screwing in a ski crampon to my ski. Has anyone retrofit a different ski crampon to this binding?
Thanks!

couple options:
Talk to the guys at ProSki out on Aurora. The used to (and probably still do) carry a little plastic clip that can be mounted right behind the targa binding that will accept a dynafit type ski crampon. I had this done to some tele skis a few years ago and it worked well.
Or buy a crampon setup from B&D ski gear...they make crampons and clips that'll work with just about every tele or rando binding out there. Plus B&D has some cool shims that stack on the crampon so you can still push the crampon into the snow when your foot is up on a heel lifter.
