This is admittedly rough, but seeing as the snow depth went from around 52 to around 64 at its peak (ski area report of 14) and they received about .24 inches of precip, that figures out to a water content of 2.1% (1.8% if you think 14 inches is accurate).  Not bad.  Hope everyone from TAY in Wenatchee enjoyed it.  It seems that it would almost be too light .

I was 5th chair up the quad under completely bluebird skies with big plans to hike Bowl 4 later in the day.  On my first run of the morning I found a hidden rock garden beneath the 14" of cold smoke and pitched forward, ending up with a 2nd degree shoulder separation.  :-[  Not exactally the way I'd hoped my day was going to end up (I was looking for the cheeks hurting from an all-day  perma grin!  ).  But it was defiantly some of the finest snow I've sampled at Mission Ridge (albeit a very small sample).

That's a pretty good example of what it was like, but doesn't really do it justice. I got first chair on 1 and 3 to start the day and skied until 1530. Face shots most every turn, I could barely walk when I got home and fell asleep at 1830. One of my best days ever.
