I get a little satisfaction when I sneak up on snowshoers and freak them out, If I spot them I try to ski really quiet then a quick on your right or just a smile with a glide

If you have a mixed group and you're making tracks in powder, it is best to keep at least one skinner behind the snowshoer(s) to smooth things out before the snow re-sets.

Maybe if you threw in a couple of quick yo-yo runs here and there, the snowshoers would be frustrated enough to just continue uphill?

I would say damn that looks heavy. For some reason I just cant see that thing having much floatation. IMO
