Does anybody know off-hand if there are any restrictions with studded snow tires in Canada - BC/ Rogers Pass/ Banff?

This CBC article has a map showing which provinces allow studs and which don't. In fact, here's that map:

My understanding that "restrictions" refers to time of year you can use them, e.g., fall to spring...
