Well, on the bright side, it looks like the rain has thawed out Muir's wind sensors.

94 mph average wind up there right now, gusting to 118! Yowsa!

From the Seattle discussion ,

It is days like this that I really wish I had the skills and gear to go creek boating...

But I found some hope at the link above:

.LONG TERM...
PREVIOUS DISCUSSION...THU...AS THE MEDIUM RANGE MODELS CONTINUED TO
ADVERTISE...WILL LIKELY END UP BEING A DRY DAY. THUS HAVE DROPPED
THE POPS FOR MOST OF THE CWA FOR THIS DAY. ALAS...IT APPEARED THAT
WET WEATHER WILL RETURN BY THE END OF THE WEEK. HOWEVER THIS PATTERN
WILL BE DIFFERENT THAN THE CURRENT ONE AS THE AIR MASS WILL BE
COLDER. THUS EXPECT THE POSSIBILITY OF THE FIRST SIGNIFICANT
SNOWFALL OF THE SEASON IN THE MOUNTAINS SOMETIME LATER THIS WEEK.

The cold front is making its way here. It appears it will be hitting the Mt Baker area after lunchtime.....
