I removed a thread which appeared to violate the Terms Of Use linked prominently at the top of this (and every) page.

To the original poster: Congratulations and best wishes for a successful venture. However, I suggest that if you wish to post press releases or similar material, you first contact Charles, the owner of this site, after consulting the Terms Of Use. In fact, since there is obvious interest from regular users of this site, you may wish to consult Charles about an appropriate way in which you might use Turns All Year to help spread the news.

To those taking sides, pro or con, about the suitability of such material for posting on Turns All Year, I suggest that you defer politely to your faithful moderators. In particular, I suggest deferring to Ron.

Thanks Mark for stepping in. I read the deleted thread and agree that your action to remove it was the right one. There seemed to be some strong undercurrents which were leading the thread in a non-TAY direction.

I think that an announcement of this new publication would be appropriate for this bulletin board, but the way in which it was done in the original thread was not great and did violate the Terms of Use. Grant, how about if you write up a short announcement that's tailored for the TAY crowd and send it to me (contact link at the bottom of every TRs page)? Then I can give you the OK to post it, thus conforming to the Term of Use.
