G3 Tail Delam

Unfortunately I'm on my 2nd round of warantee 'G3 Tickets'.

Has anybody else noticed this??????

Check your Tail protector/P-tex joint/connection.  The warantee dept at G3 is taking this seriously and is very willing to keep up with the Good Kharma Gods.

I sure hope they get this resolved.  I had sent photos in to initiate my return and had been told that PAUL is now aware of the issue.  When I asked if they have seen this, Kam's reply was that of "very few".....my hunch is there are more out there, waiting to be noticed at their next spring tune.

This message prompted an inspection of my own Tickets -- small delam beginning on the tail of the right ski . Who've you been talking to at G3? Looks like it's time for me to call customer service.

G3 warranty is handled "good Karma" Kam. She has taken interest in both of my returns. She can be reached at by tele off the website:

When I first spoke with her, I offered to send her dig-photos of the delam: i did so by flexing the delam with my thumb and forefinger "in the photo". She imediately showed the crew in the shop and had a warranty solution in hand.

Note: Since this is my second return in less than 10,000vf. I will do my own repair if needed. Using small t-nuts "found in ski shops, Burton repair kits" countersink and file flat. Total possitive repair. May even put one in the tip for a conversation piece

Thanks Pin -- I've got some pics to send. My delam is small, but definitely there, with only 4 days and less than 20k on them.

I may ping you for some advice on the home repair if I end up in the same situation. Thanks!
