Cascade Lakes Highway Opening??

Does anyone have any information on when the Cascade Lakes Highway will be opening (past Mt Bachelor)? This would allow much closer access to the South Sister and Broken Top. I've heard rumor that the Oregon Department of Transportation isn't thrilled about plowing all the snow off by Memorial weekend but I haven't been able to confirm. Thanks,

Hi Matt - For the past 5 years (well except maybe last year) Cascade Lakes Hwy has opened on Memorial Day weekend. I just checked tripcheck.com and here's what they say about it:

"Comments: Century Drive is closed south of Mt. Bachelor for the winter. Crews are hoping to have the highway open for Memorial weekend"

So maybe they'll have it open. You should check again tripcheck.com/ closer to the weekend.

ODOT just updated their website and it looks like Century Drive is open for the summer
