K2 Chogori randonnee ski was created by Randonnee
Does anyone have information or ski the K2 Chogori?
I am interested in it for a spring and summer ski using Dynafit bindings and TLT 4 boots.
It looks good on paper, flex seems ok.
Thanks.

Are these the new version of the blue K2 8611 Summit skis? I have the 8611 and like them very much. They don't ski hard but thats not what I do in the BC. They are light, turn easy and work well in powder and corn. If you go fast and hard they are lacking but again I don't use em for that. I'm 185 lbs and I have the 180s to make turns a little easier in tight places. Good luck.

My wife has the 8611 Summit Superlight 174 cm (blue) and skis well on them. I considered those in
181 cm, but stiffer would be better for my mass. The Sahale and the Chogori by my flex evaluation are stiffer than the 8611 Summit Superlight. I think that the Chogori is similar or slightly stiffer than my 107mm shovel Shuksan 190 cm.
The Sahale and Chogori are only as long as 174 cm, but I am game to try that length for a light spring/ summer setup if they are stiff enough. It has taken a few years to lose my ski area mentality in regard to skis, but I now see the value of shorties- if stout enough for me.
Thanks for the reply.
