Was wondering if anyone had been up the Teanaway road within the last couple of days and could shed some light on the road conditions and how far you can get. Hopefully Headlight :'(

Check out the Earl report in the April TRs. Looks like you have a bit of a wait if you're hoping to get to the road end...

We drove up to Beverly Creek Campground late Sunday night in a Subaru wagon, but the snow started long before that. We were lucky the snow patches on the road were frozen or we would have been stuck miles before. Almost continuous snow on the road from past 29pines and before the  second bridge (Sorry, it was late and I was concentrating on not wrecking the lady's car) I was pretty worried about getting out if it warmed up in the morning so we left super early and just skinned up Hyak.

It didn't seem more than a foot or two deep and I bet a good week or so of sun would do it that far at least. Good luck!

We were able to drive almost 1/2 mile PAST Beverly Camp Ground in the dark on Friday night.  We were in a mid-sized 4x4 truck.  We walked from there up the road and hit continuous snow near Mile Post 6, 4 miles to the trailhead.  On the way out we were able to keep our skis on all the way to the truck with 2-3 carries and a couple of dirt patch walks.

My F150 4x4 broke the snow crust @ 0645 on the Teanaway Road, so I backed off rather than get in trouble. Certainly it is possible to drive across the remaining snow when it is frozen harder. I have never high centered my F150, but I have high centered my high-clearance Jeep Wrangler on snow and then spent a couple of hours shoveling it out. It is ok until the crust breaks. Sure, it is probably fine at night.

the road up Stafford Creek should be clear within a couple hundred meters of the trailhead up to Navaho Peak in a day or so. Sunday it was only blocked by one quickly melting patch of snow about a mile from the trailhead. Skiing up on Navaho was excellent on Sat. Some of the best corn I've ever skied. Lots of snow and skiable terrain on the Navaho side of Earl too.
