Green Mtn skiing beta???

The boyfriend is thinking about touring Green Mountain this upcoming weekend-one of his favorite summer hikes that he wants to do on skis. Does anyone have any good info about touring in this area? I've never seen any TR on it (nor did a search reveal any on TAY).

There was a lookout up there a few years ago, and you could hang out on the cat-walks (door was locked). It overhung the ridge and one side was pretty airy for a structure. I heard somewhere that it might by gone now. Does anyone know if it's still there? The skiing is steeper/longer on the north and east sides of the peak. You would most likely have to retrace your general approach route to return to the car.

Did a tour last May around Green Mountain. Unfortunately there wasn't much snow last May. You should have a lot better luck this season though.
