Lost Boombox/Found Boombox (a feelgood story)

I was enjoying my turns so much that I lost the Boombox off my pack on the way down from the festival today  :....anybody grab it by chance???  I may skin back up there in the early am.

That is the sign of a good party.

hmm, that's a big time bummer, jw. how did that one actually happen? there must be a good story...

While I'm sure the cost of recovery was astronomical compared to unit value....it was satisfying indeed!

             

From the looks of your face in that picture it appears that possibly you sacrificed the pack space you normally set aside for sunscreen to carry more alcohol, which could have contributed to both the loss of the boombox and the stories describing the leading thereto. 

Nice job there J on the recovery.  Next time, on the way down, leave it on and turn up the volume  in case of another ejection, one of us will surely be able to find it.  Gosh, it must have had a soft landing, from the looks of it, it was still in one piece.  If only the elk had thumbs  , they might have turned it on and had their own party  . Glad you found it though, the tunes were an added plus at the ski fest.
