Yes you betcha. I haven't been up there as yet this year so I can't say what is open and what is bridged over. The best way is to always stay to the west keeping a eye out for them. Beware of dirty,low spots and pitch breaks. The closer to the Carbon the more likely crevasses break open.
Having said that Ive skied it around this time of year unroped. I'll see if I can find a picture. . I'd love to go up there but got a wedding to get ready for. Hope this helps

I skied the Russell last weekend. It had small cracks visible here and there but nothing too big, and easy to avoid cracks.
As a side, I've skied the Russell in July for the last 4 or 5 years and it seems like this year has more visible crevasses than I ever remember. Also, more skiers than I remember seeing.

Wow! You sure that's not a photo of the Muir Snowfield?
Amazing how many people are getting out nowadays.
