I have some demo/adjustable 412's on a pair ofSXx 11's (bought used so have probably seen some mileage) which have not given me any trouble yet, but I can't tell you how many ski shop guys have said something to the effect that these as well as the newer Neox's are pretty notorious for failure.
That said they've done their job well for me. No prereleases of note and they release when they should as far as I can tell. Maybe they did something beefier with the demo models?
