The sno-mo recreation area is basically a pie shaped section of the mountain's south side emcompassing most of the Easton and Squak Glaciers and ending in a point at the crater rim. At least that's how I understand it...
<br><br>Yah, the point of the pie slice is Sherman Peak. Sledders use FR 13 for access and basically thrash whatever they can reach from there. The area is closed to sleds when the snowdepth at Schreiber's Meadow falls below a defined threshhold, usually right around the time the road is melted out to within a quarter mile of the trailhead. <br>
