Where to tour w/ High Avy Danger

Anyone know of any nice gladed or protected places to tour when the avy danger is high, like it's supposed to be this weekend?

<br><br>Hi Jason,<br><br>Yodelin, up near Stevens Pass, is a popular, fairly well protected destination. Lots of nice glades to be had. There are some open sections and rolls that would be steep enough to go, but generally they're pretty easily avoided.

It's good that you have sense enough to ask, Jason.<br>As it says right at the bottom of each avy report, there is always safe places to ski in the mountains, even in when the avy danger is high. If unsure, stick to low angle slopes and mellow glades, or like Matt suggests, go to the ski area and let the pros worry about it.<br><br>Another option you have for this Sunday is to come and join us for Stefan's birthday ski party at the Mazama bowl out of Paradise. Safe approach, plenty of low angle lines to ski and a chance to meet a gaggle of TAY'ers.<br>What else could you ask for!?
