Did they have to break trail in 2 feet of powder? (I'm guessing no, but that would be an interesting twist.)

I think the powder had been pretty much taken care of on Sessel and 'Nash by the paying customers on Friday . . . though I wasn't close enough to the front to see. Martin said he put in two skin tracks to/from Piss Pass when he set the control gate, and everyone seemed to use them. <br><br>Two years ago there was a foot of fresh graupel and I was the first one up the course on my way to take pictures - everyone used my track up during the race, at least on the first lap.

Just think of the possibilities... a pack would form like in road cycling. There would be pacelines and breakaways. I mean, they're already dressed for it.
