Skin Maintenance

I have some 2 year old BD skins with a lot of days on them, and during some of my low elevation travels, some tree/needle material has imbedded itself into the skin glue. Do I do a complete reglue to get this stuff out?

Eventually you will have to do a complete skin re-glue. But for now, if the needle problem isn't too bad, try taking a stiff scrub brush and some plain water and just try scrubbing off the needles. I've done that a time or two myself, it's helped a little, and at least gotten me through the remainder of the year. Test a small area first and see if that will work for you. If the skins will still stick to the skis you should be good until they don't stick anymore. If the scrub brush wash doesn't work then you'll probably have to do the re-glue unless there aren't to many needles and you don't have anything else to do but pick them off .
