So, who's the chump - Bode Miller or Ron Judd? We report; you decide.Miller, perhaps the most talented American ever to click into ski bindings, used the U.S. alpine team's news conference Tuesday to spread his increasingly tiresome, woe-is-me shtick all over the Winter Olympics.

He squints into the camera lights that produce the images that make him rich and decries their very existence.

He bemoans the corporate poisoning of sport while stopping just short of tattooing the name of a pasta company across his forehead. He bristles at the gall of anyone who dares add all that up and come up with a sum total of hypocrite.

This is the guy who issued a non-apology apology for his now-infamous "60 Minutes" confessional to skiing drunk, or near-drunk, or however he wants to Clinton his way out of it. And by gosh, he's sticking with it.

"I don't want to sound arrogant," Miller said, sounding arrogant, "but none of that bothers me much. I would be lying if I said I had massive regrets about the things I have said."

Bode, warrior for truth.

Maybe that's the hidden message in the new "Join Bode" Nike Web site campaign, which expounds on Miller's apparent life philosophy:

"Join the bold, the brazen, the unintimidated," Miller's "manifesto" states. "Join the unwillingness to give in. Join doing things your way. Join not joining."

Deep.
