Howdy all,

Does anyone have a source for telemetry and avy reports for the Eastern Washington and Idaho area? I'm headed out to the Spokane/Schweitzer area this weekend and would love to gather a little non-ski-area biased info before we go.

Thanks!

Marcus

Try this page from the NWS Spokane. It has a whole bunch of remote data sites. You'll find a Snotel for Schweitzer.

www.wrh.noaa.gov/mesonet/surfaceobs.php?...otxe&sort=name#table

We've gotten a ton of (what I assume is fairly wet) snow along with high winds this week.

Schweitzer was closed Tuesday for high winds. Silver mountain was closed Mon, Tuesday and didn't open til 11:00 due to the winds.

Thanks for the info Ron -- that's just what I needed. Here's hoping the winds slow down a bit for the weekend...
