BC near Sandpoint, ID?

I'm headed over to Sandpoint for a long weekend to visit friends. Might ski Schweitzer but at $50 it better be deep. Anyone have good pointers for backcountry touring in that area? Thanks.<br><br>Darin

They are getting snow up there, so it may be worth the 50 bucks. I went last friday and there was no crowd, mind you it was a weekday. My brothers and I found wonderful untouched slop on the run above a small lake (not sure of the name of the run). They also have great tree runs, though you may scratch your skis. I didn't mind that
