Telemark and Randonee Ski Demo 1/4/06

Marmot Mountain Works' Telemark and Randonee ski demo day on Wednesday January 4th 2006 has been approved by The Summit at Snoqualmie.<br><br>The demo will be held at Summit West from 4pm until 9pm.<br><br>Many of the manufacturer's representatives will be in attendance with their fleets of demo gear for you to try out.... including K2, Atomic, Black Diamond, Scarpa, G3, and Garmont. Marmot Mountain Works will also make available the majority of their store's demo gear.<br><br>Bring your own telemark, randonee, or alpine downhill ski boots and poles if you have them in order to maximize your options and enjoyment.<br><br>The use of the demo gear will be free of charge, but you will be required to purchase your own lift ticket.<br><br>This demo is open to adult skiers, no kid's size equipment will be available.

Sounds like a fun way to check out a lot of new boards for free. Thanks, in advance, for doing this event.

On the back of your magazine, under "Telemark & Randonee Demos", it says "Locations and Dates to be announced."  Do you have any idea when the future one(s) will be, and whether they might (hopefully!) be on weekend days?  thanx.<br><br>

Unfortunately, it looks like this will be the only event of this kind in our region this season.<br><br>We were not able to coordinate a weekend date when all of the industry folks necessary to accomplish this could be available to attend.<br><br>I hope that you will be able to make it!

It was fun...gotta say my favorite ski tried was the G3 Reverend. Super stable. A little heavy.

G3 Tickets win my vote -- didn't try them off the groomers, but definitely a stable, high-speed carver. I reached my speed limit before they reached theirs...<br><br>Thanks for putting on the demo!
