Snow Conditions for X-mas Week

I like this quote from NWAC director Mark Moore, "I personally feel uncomfortable with forecasts extending beyond a few minutes..."

I was up at Schweitzer on Friday and found very fun conditions, though I'm a glutton for Muck, especially that of the untouched sort. I really had fun, especially with the lack of people and the perfectly spread out trees there. Maybe it was that I expected ice or maybe it wasn't Muck at all? One skier we saw was from a southern state I won't mention that gets great quanities of powder, said that, "The snow was fun." Then, according to my Washington definition of powder, it must have been just that .
