Mountain Mexican Eats on Mt.Baker Highway

A friend just purchased Casa 542 and changed the name to Ju Juan A Mexicana. This restaurant is in Maple Falls and makes excellent, big burritos, enchilatas, ect...Good ingredients replace the normal "mexican" cheese, refried beans and iceberg lettuce overload. Try the potato burrito, it's da bomb (that means good). If your up that way on the weekends, it's usually less crowded than Grahams or the Shrine.

i never went to that place, did it used to be affiliated with casa que pasa? i'm guessing it isnt now, but has a similair menu?

Ahhhh yes! I was in that place over the weekend. Perhaps you were too Lahar? You have an interesting name. Were you, by chance, the fellow in there with the turban on? <br><br>The Ju Juana served us up a great meal. I had a meatty burito topped with cheese and enchilada sauce. The meal was huge. I could barely finish my burrito and beer. By the way, they also serve up some cheap (only a dollar) chips and salsa, which you can pig out on as they make your meal. There was a really diverse crowd in there...young, old, families. I also like the pictures on the wall...and good atmosphere. Check it out!

Nope, not me Deepak. Glad you liked the food. Jack, doesn't matter, just go try it! Menu has lots of variety. A recent special was Yam-chiladas. Very good.
