The TAY community is clearly a community of learners and teachers. Many of us spend time in the winter season sharing our joy of snow and skiing with students both young and not so young. With that said, I offer up some resources, links, and literature you might find fun in your quest to share the beauty of winter with children (and the young at heart).

Enjoy and teach them well.

SNOW theme unit:flurry of flakes

(I hope you don't mind that a few snow images have flaked out :))

I'm glad to hear that TAY is a good place to find teachers. I'm techinically not a child, but my friends say I act like one, does this mean I'm eligible for tutoring?

I'm currently at school in PA, but my winter break is spent at home (Lakewood, WA) and I'm eager to get out and put as much time as I can on my skies (tele now..formerly snowboarding).

Is this a good place to start looking for people who wouldn't mind lugging around someone?

I'll pay for beer.

nick
