Certainly ProSki and Marmot could do it. It's likely that Alpine Hut & Sturtyvant's could as well, as well as others I might not know about.

But probably ProSki or Marmot would be your best bet.

There is no question in my my mind :) The best bootfitter in Seattle is Jim Mates. Tons of really good experience with him - my friends also use him. Bootfitting is his business.

I can tell you if it's shell punching (for ski boots), then one option is to go see Martin at Sturtevants in Bellevue. As Eric at Marmot admits, Marmot's boot punching methodology is archaic & they don't have very good equipment.

Depends on what you need done. If it's serious modification, buckle addition, etc. then David Page is the guy the manufacturers (ie. Scarpa, Dynafit) will send you to.

I use Jim Mates , 206.297.9298 who has a thorough understanding of both types of footwear and cobbler's tools/machines in his shop. Be prepared for a thorough discussion of your stance, skiing style, mountaineering goals, etc. - Jim is definitely the "thinking" person's fitter.

I have used Kelly Timmons as well for ski boot work with excellent results 206.547.7879, and would trust Martin Rand (don't know about his experience with mountaineering boots, but he's also a climber so he's probably done some).

I would have recommended Brent at World Cup in Bellevue but I believe he's sold the shop and I don't know who's there now.
