You also need to realize that "Global Warming" in itself is big business. There are many folks who make their living off of GW and proving that it is human caused and/or preventable by human change. Many of these scientists that talk of global warming gasses (CO2) and how we need to do this and/or that to stop GW are also funded by our government to find the cause and solution. If they were to come to any other conclusion (such as solar flares, or other natural causes) then that would take away their funding and they would be out of a job.

Simple questions:

--Please explain the events that led to the end of any one of the last 50 ice ages (or, please explain the root cause of those global warming events)?

--How much faster did this global warming event occur than anyone of the last 50 (pick more than one if needed).

--Do you blame man, or CO2, or earth/sun orbital changes for this event?

--If the answer is mankind, are you, your parents, your children, your siblings, your cousins, and all of your extended family the blame for this event? Or are all the other consumers and their families really to blame? Given the fact you're in a lit room sitting in some sort of chair on a wood floor with carpeting, reading a computer screen, receiving data via a network delivered over copper lines that were mined and processed using nasty chemicals, how different are you than anyone else consuming and producing (well, hopefully producing)? And should your excesses be excused given the way you feel?

--On the political question, what's the real end-game? In other words, what's the point, and what is it that you really want changed? Do you really want lower temperatures or do you want Western society to go away? Do you want everyone to live at the same consumption level as you, and would that fix the supposed problem?

Go Hawks!
