Well, I hear there are lawyers, accountants, insurance agents, and more out here on tay just waiting to help the rest of us. How about someone with a vehicle capable of hauling 6000lb? I must move my vintage snowcat (1965) from Seattle to Mt. Silas, hope you found a puller....<br><br>OT, but this thread reminds me of an idea I had a few months ago. Since so much amazing skiing here can only be accessed via snowmobile (or day+ long approach skis...) and the cost of personally owning a machine is not quite feasible (for me, at least), what kind of interest is there in creating a ski-touring via snowmobile "club" of sorts. Basically it would work sort of like a timeshare, with a not-for-profit club actually owning the machine/machines and everyone who uses them paying some kind of annual due for maintainance. They would be kept in a storage facility in winter (so everyone has access), and moved to a less costly venue (somebody's garage/barn) in the summer months. <br><br>The machine itself should probably be a work snowmobile, basically a big 4 stroke with a wide track and capability of towing a trailer and/or skiers. They're spendy, but with enough people it might work out.<br><br>Thoughts?<br><br>
