car camping along n.cascades hwy?

haven't been up to rainy or wash. pass yet this spring, hoping to go soon.<br><br>Just wondering if the parking lot is plowed out at the Blue Lake trailhead? Seems like some years it is and theres lots of room to car camp, other years theres just a wide spot in the road at wash. pass with barely enough room to park for the day.<br><br>thanks.

Blue Lake parking lot is fully plowed as of yesterday. Lots of dreamy seeming powder on nearly all aspects except S which was crusty on steeper slopes. <br><br>I use to always camp down at the Cutthroat Creek parking lot. Lots of No Camping signs now but I've yet to see it enforced. Less commotion and less bugs in summer.

Skiing, Mr. Berdinka?  Or some inferior pursuit?<br><br>Edit to add: Oh yes, Pete...Blue Lake yes, but the giant parking lot at Washington Pass is not yet plowed. Nor is there parking at the hairpin, although turnouts in the avalanche paths above and below are cleared. <br><br><br>

we car camped at Rainy Pass a couple weeks ago with a problem.
