As many may have noticed, TAY was out of service this morning. I'm not sure how long it was out, but I noticed it around 10am. According to my web host their area experienced a power outage: an underground fire overnight forced some street closures and knocked out more than 500 traffic lights. The fire blew out four or five manhole covers and firefighters found smoke and flames shooting from one of the manholes. The flames damaged high-powered electric cables underground. Everything looks like it is up and running now.
