I use Dynafits, a mix of TLT/at shells with older, softer tongues. Have used Scarp Denalis in the past, but they were a bit stiff for tight trees. The trick is to find the softest boots that fit your feet and hold the heel down. The softest Dynafits could never hold my heel.

I leave them in walk mode all the time, and the top buckle barely buckled. I use these for resort and backcountry- Mt Adams, Baker type stuff. I would never go back to fooling around with laces and straps!

Here is an extensive thread from couloirmag.com forums:

www.telemarkskier.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb...t_topic;f=1;t=000289

I am personally using a used pair of Nordica SBH plastic snowboard boots that I got for $25. They are heavy though I would go for a lighter boot if I had the cash flow.

Justin, if you get some custom liners you'll lighten those boots up substantially. www.cheapsnowboards.com has thermos for 20 bucks!

I can't tell if you're joking or not. Are those actually "thermofit" liners? Who knows if they would fit in my boots...

I've been using the dynafit tlt500 and they are the best boot I've used for BC. I use em to ski and snowboard.I've used other at boots in the past the key is good fit I tried the garmont gsm and swore I'd never use at boots again but when I tried these I was glad I gave em another try. Just make sure they are comfy. good luck
