Must get those July turns in and I don't know where to go. Is Muir snowboard-able or sun cupped beyond belief? Planning for Saturday if anyone has other ideas I am up for about anything.

I would look for another destination than Muir...typically by this time of the summer it is usually nasty, large suncups and lots of volcanic dust....better options would probably be the russell and flett glaciers accessed from the mowich lake trailhead on rainier or various destinations around the mt.baker ski area. <br>If you don't already have a copy of Rainier Burgdorfers ski guide for Washington, I'd recommend taking a look at it, it has a nice graph in the back showing when certain tours will be best, I think the graph shows that muir is past its prime by June.
