Report of 2 avalanche fatalities, B.C., Seattle?

This morning's paper had an article bylined from Nelson, B.C. which reported 2 backcountry skiers dead of party of 4. Article suggested skiers were from Seattle. Anybody know anything?

The noon news said one of the fatalities was Ron Gregg, founder of Outdoor Research. Didn't mention the other one.<br>What a sad loss to the outdoor community.<br>Didn't Georgia Bakke work for OR as well? Yes, Georgia Bakke who died last year in the same Park was an OR engineer.

Georgia was the head of product testing for Mountain Safety Research (now Cascade Designs). Same street (1st avenue), different business.

Yes. Very unfortunate (both with Georgia and her husband and now Ron Gregg). I'm not exactly sure, but I think Ron was in the same area Georgia was in last year.
