Oregon - Bend area ideas?

I will be spending next week in Bend, Oregon. Does anyone have any input on good ski routes. Ideally 3-6 hour trip with limited time spent slogging in. Thanks

Try Tamalo directly (North) across from batchelor. Lots of good tree skiing and can be done 2 or 3 times . West (best tree skiing )South and east bowl are all good. Park at Nordic center or directly south in snow parking lot.Nothing steep but fun tree skiing. South sisters takes more time.<br>Others here might fill us in more.
