Where should I ski around Mt Hood tommorow? was created by sherpa_jeff
Hi, I'm relatively new to the Northwest.

It looks like I can take tomorrow (Tuesday the 12th) or Thursday (the 14th) off from work. I'd like to go skiing. I live in Portland. What would be my best option?

I'm currently considering:

- Hiking under the lifts at Hood Meadows.

- White River Canyon.

- Buying a lift ticket at Timberline.

Thanks,

Jeff

Welcome to the PNW, Jeff.
There's some pics from Nov 3 of the timberline area on the Palmer Gl. Bottomfeeders thread. Add to what you see there the foot or two that's fallen at timberline since then and you should have a pretty good idea what you'll likely encounter at Timberline and the White River Gl.
My guess is that you'll bottom out a bit until we get another dump or two.
