Mowich Lake road

Hi gang , For your info I talked to a ranger today at Wikerson Station and Mowich lake rd is still open. Till the first snow. I'm still hearing some groaning!

Seems like the Mowich road always closes just when there might be enough new snow up higher to make the long hike in worthwhile, but anyway, by then there is much more easily accessed snow elsewhere. Sort of the same story in the spring, but backwards - they keep the road closed just long enough that you've got to earn a chance to earn some turns!
