Hey there. I'm looking for people to ski tour with in the Baker/North Cascades area. I recently relocated to Whatcom County.About me: I'm 38, and have been ski touring for the last 4 years, generally
around Stevens Pass and Alpental, and skiing on volcanoes in spring and
summer.I am cautious and safety minded in the mountains (they will always be there, getting back to the
car is the top priority). I've taken the AAIRE L1, and will be taking L2
this December. I like digging pits and verifying the forecast.Happy to talk or ride in bounds together to see if we are a good fit before venturing out into the unknown.

Hello, I am also in Whatcom county and looking for some backcountry partner(s)  I had backcountry partners over the last 3 years but they are Canadian and can not cross the border right now because of Covid.

I am 39 and have been splitboarding for 3 seasons now- about 10-15 days per season.  I have my AAIRE L1 and First Aide training.   I am an advanced but cautious rider, especially in unfamiliar terrain.   Your motto of getting back to the car is also a priority for me.     Still riding inbounds quite a bit as well.

Some inbounds riding and backcountry discussion may be beneficial before getting out there.   DM if you are interested

Kettster: I am in Snohomish County, but driving is never a problem. I will soon have 2+ weeks of break from my teaching job, beginning 12/21/20. I am an early-riser. Also a conservative touring skier, but can go for many hours at a steady pace. Been touring since 1997, with lots of time spent with Pro Guiding Services. PM me for phone info. Hope we can ski soon!

I moved to Bellingham in May this year. Some ski touring experience but not a ton, AIARE 1, and 5ish years of mountain rescue experience including a bunch of snow safety practices. I'd love to find some partners for moderate tours. I'll DM other folks in this thread.
